For 25 years Grad Resources has made Dallas their Global Headquarters. In order to introduce local leaders to this service for graduate students, a stellar list of Dallas VIPs have lent their names to the Host Committee for an AWARENESS EVENT telling the Grad Resources story and Honoring Norm Miller, Interstate Batteries, for his role in the launch of Grad Resources.
Those who have agreed to serve as Hosts include:
- Neil Ashcraft, Former Pastor, Scofield
- Stephen Rankin, Chaplain, SMU
- David Ridley, Founder, Invesco Dallas
- Lyle Reed, CEO, Foretravel MotorCoach
- Daniel Lee, CEO, BTI Solutions
- Dr. Jeff Thurston, OB/GYN
- David Dunton, CEO, Alpine Gas
- Eric Fellman, President of Ascent, former CEO Guideposts
- Dan Panetti, Worldview Director, Prestonwood Christian Academy
- Jim Beckett, Beckett Interests
The event is October 26 (7-8:30pm) at the Pack Auto Museum (http://www.packautomotivemuseum.com/). It is strictly an Awareness Event to share the mission and impact of Grad Resources over the years. Ethan Wiekamp, the new CEO, will cast the vision for the launch of our new Expansion campaign. There will not be a solicitation of funds. The main purpose is to establish relationships with new potential friends.
YOU ARE INVITED! Hear about the struggles faced by 2.5 million graduate students in the U.S. and why their unique demands of research and study prevent 50% from completing a Ph.D. There are limited resources available to assist grads in dealing with the challenges of pursuing a Masters or Ph.D. degree, but Grad Resources is recognized as the primary source of seminars, training and local support groups to these future leaders through online articles, seminars and the National Grad Crisis-Line, 877-GRAD-HLP (www.GradResources.org).
Nick Repak, founder of Grad Resources, stated, “We will always explore ways to serve the needs of graduate students around the globe.” After 25 years as CEO, Nick Repak will continue with Grad Resources with emphasis on international expansion. Nick, Ethan and some amazing grad student leaders will tell of the impact of Grad Resources.
