April 1-6, 2024 is National Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week, a time to recognize the contributions and importance of graduate students in the US. We celebrate and honor the Teaching Assistants, Research Assistants, graduate association leaders and all students pursuing graduate and professional degrees. We appreciate your vital contribution.
We also want to make sure that you have all the support you need to succeed. For some students, the path to completing a graduate degree can sometimes be more difficult than expected and the pressure of personal and academic responsibilities too much to handle. Help is available. The National Graduate Student Crisis Line (877-GRAD-HLP) is staffed by trained counselors who understand the pressures. There is also a free month of teletherapy available through BetterHelp.com/gradresources. Don’t wait until a crisis arrives to call the National Grad Crisis Line or connect with BetterHelp. They are available 24/7 to listen, connect and assist you today!
Thanks to our partners we can offer a free month of counseling to all 3 million grad students.
We need your help to continue these services!
We need to travel to campuses, meet with grad students, explain our services to university administrators to build the organization.
I would like to ask you to consider becoming a monthly sponsor for Grad Resources. Your commitment of $25, $50, or $100 per month would enable us to continue operating at full steam while we make some adjustments to make our office even more efficient through volunteers.
As we prepare for the Fall Semester and New Grad Student Orientations across the country, we need your help to spread the word that help is available!
